Turkeys spawn naturally in Forest, Birch Forest, Dark Oak Forest, Plains, Taiga, and Meadow biomes, making your world feel richer and more vibrant.
Natural Spawning & Wildlife Expansion
As you explore these biomes, you’ll encounter turkeys roaming in groups, interacting with the environment, and behaving like a true wildlife species. Their presence adds realism while keeping the vanilla style intact.
Turkeys drop feathers and raw turkey meat, making them a useful resource early and late game.
Raw & Cooked Turkey | New Food Items
Both raw turkey and cooked turkey come with unique mechanics:
- Raw turkey can be eaten, but it will give you the Hunger effect.
- Raw turkey and cooked turkey can be placed as blocks, perfect for decoration or food displays.
- Cooked turkey restores the entire hunger bar, making it one of the strongest foods in the game.
- Raw turkey can be cooked in any vanilla furnace and campfire.
Turkey Nest | Breeding Reimagined
You can craft a Turkey Nest using string and wheat. Once placed, it becomes the foundation of the turkey breeding system.
Turkeys will lay eggs in the nest when fed with any type of seed. Each nest can hold up to four eggs at once, offering an engaging and visually immersive breeding mechanic.
Egg Laying & Hatching
Eggs placed in the nest will hatch automatically after 50–60 seconds, creating baby turkeys without the need for the player to throw eggs or perform extra steps. This system adds depth, simplicity, and realism while keeping everything intuitive and fun.
