Remember the charming Tuff Golem from Minecraft Live 2022? You can now finally add it to your Minecraft Bedrock world! This addon introduces an interactive and decorative Golem that can hold your favorite items and transform into an elegant statue. Perfect for bringing life to your builds and creating stunning displays.
How to Spawn Your Tuff Golem
To spawn a Tuff Golem, simply place a tuff block and place a carved pumpkin on top. This will create a new Tuff Golem entity ready for interaction.
Adding Clothing Color
Players can interact with the Tuff Golem using any carpet to assign it a clothing color. Only golems with a color can hold items. The interaction updates the Tuff Golem visually with the selected carpet color.
A Tuff Golem can hold items only when it has clothing color. Interacting with the golem while holding any item will equip it in the golem’s inventory.
Removing Clothing Color
If the player is sneaking and interacts with the Tuff Golem with shears, the clothing color is removed.
If the player is not sneaking, interacting with a sneaking Tuff Golem will spawn a drop:empty_hold_item entity holding the item in its inventory, allowing players to retrieve items safely.
Turning into a Statue
After 1–2 minutes of sitting, the Tuff Golem can be converted into a statue block by interacting with it while sneaking and using a honeycomb.
The statue preserves the clothing color. Interacting with an axe will convert the statue back into a Tuff Golem entity.
You can interact with the Tuff Golem statue block using carpets or shears to update or remove its clothing color.
