Planes Add-On Wooden and Copper Planes for Minecraft Bedrock

Bring aviation to Minecraft Bedrock with the Plains Addon, a lightweight yet exciting mod that lets you craft and pilot different types of planes. Each aircraft is built using real materials from the game wood or copper and comes with full oxidation and waxing.

About the Plains Addon

The Plains Addon adds functional wooden and copper planes to your Minecraft world. Copper planes oxidize naturally over time, changing their appearance just like copper blocks do. You can wax a plane with a honeycomb to preserve its color, or deoxidize it with an axe to restore its shine.

It’s currently an early version designed for testing and feedback. If the community supports it, future updates will include new aircraft mechanics, plane variants, and advanced customization.

Crafting and Materials

Before flying, you’ll need to craft the Plane Engine the core component required for all planes.

Once you have the engine:

  • Wooden Planes:
    • Use stripped logs and wood planks, then place the engine in the center using each wood type. The bamboo plane is crafted similarly, but uses stripped bamboo blocks and bamboo planks instead.
  • Copper Planes:
    • Place the engine in the center and surround it with copper blocks.
    • You can use oxidized copper for oxidized plane variants.
    • Copper planes will oxidize naturally (between 900–3600 seconds) and can be waxed or cleaned with a honeycomb or axe.
